About Me

Growing up I loved board games. My brother and I would always bring friends over to set up games that would take hours to play. Through the years, there was one game I always gravitated   towards, and that was chess. Chess is a game that requires deep thought. It is a game that pits two opponents against each other, but is balanced by your own ability and forethought. Chess was a  game I excelled at and loved. It taught me patience, strategy, and fueled the competitive part of my nature.

Now I am a student at Penn State University studying Corporate Innovation and Entrepreneurship. Through my time at college I have been able to work a marketing internship, accounting internship, and was selected as a member of the Penn State THON Executive Committee, a prestigious leadership position for the world's largest philanthropy.  My personal skills have been fueled by a passion to help others. Through my time in THON, I have learned about the impact an individual and a community can have on others. This motivation has driven me to explore careers in non-profit work.

This summer, I will be interning at Georgetown University in their development offices. I'm hoping to gain a deeper knowledge of the non-profit industry, as well as customer relations. This experience will help build my professional skills to further develop the all-around professional I strive to become.

Overall, my goal in life is to apply the strategic and competitive aspects of my character to a cause that will have a positive impact on others.
